wrt the upside down goldfish: I remember watching a show on this topic and the guy said that for this situation, "This is caused when you feed the fish floating food. The fish will consume some air bubbles which get trapped in his stomach, causing him to float." His recommendation was to stop feeding the fish food that floats. :D (Shucks for "expert" advice huh? Seems obvious, doesn't it? ;p)
